Broadacres Golf Club reopened now

Stewart, the sole Democrat around the five-person board, recently pushed to close Broadacres and has stated publicly that Orangetown can't spend the money for cost of running tweaking two money-losing golf courses.

Broadacres lost $312,000 a year ago. The location also operates the 27-hole Blue Hill course in Pearl River, which ran a deficit of $438,000.

A product to close the greens was Taylormade Rocketballz Irons discussed for about an hour after a workshop meeting March 22, with all the four Republicans around the board expressing various examples of opposition.
